I’m thrilled to announce that this August I’ll be launching two new lines of everyday occasion cards. Yep, not one, but two! For the past few weeks I’ve been hard at work designing the new lines and although the designs are not entirely finished, I couldn’t wait to announce when they’re coming and give you a little preview. Each line I’m creating will launch with four occasion specific cards: birthday, thank you, congratulations, and a general love/relationship card. The plan is to continue growing these lines with more cards that you, my customer and supporter, want for specific occasions.
If you’re familiar with the two Mother’s Day cards I debuted this past May then you’ll have a good idea of what the new card lines will look like. One will be inspired by the geometrical patterns found in Polish paper-cutting, the other will be inspired by Victorian embroidered lettering. I originally produced the Mother’s Day cards to fit within both line ideas and test the waters. The response to those cards was overwhelmingly positive so I decided to go ahead and produce both lines since I couldn’t decide on just one.

Finally offering everyday occasion cards is a really big deal. My existing card sets are perfect to have on hand for any occasion or just general correspondence but are only sold in sets. I know you’d prefer to get more specific sometimes with a single card that expresses how you feel. I’m so happy that you’ll finally be able to choose a Pressbound card to do that starting this August.

Stay tuned for more info in a couple weeks about the specific launch date (hint: it will be towards the end of August), a few events taking place around the launch, and a very special offer during the first week of sale.

[...] I move closer to my goal. I asked Melissa these questions a few weeks ago, and since replying, she previewed one of the lines! Have you made your own map? If so, share it in the comments! var fbShare = [...]
